Electric Dreams Productions was founded by Finise Avery — an award-winning New York-based filmmaker with a passion for bold, character-driven storytelling and social equity in entertainment.

Her debut short Living With Grandma earned 40+ international awards including Best Female Director at the Cannes World Film Festival, Best First Time Director at LAFA, and wins at Oniros NY, Rome International, Mindfield, Cineplay IFF, and San Diego Short Film Festival.

Her second film Desperately Seeking Commitment is currently in festival consideration — already winning Best Screenplay at Cannes WFF, Best Comedy Script at Cannes WFF, Winner ICE Movie Awards 2026, and Winner Oniros Film Awards NY.
